Carol Arnold was born in Hollywood and sailed across the Pacific at age ten to the tropical island of Guam. She had nine different animals for pets, including a goat, a pig, and a fuzzy fruit bat known as a "flying fox" that Carol called Charlie.
As a teenager, she launched out alone, leaving Guam by boat to attend the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Los Angeles is where her grandparents helped found the Hollywood Bowl and promoted socialism and the sexual revolution before it was cool.
Carol speaks to women, church leaders, and pastors and their wives as cofounder of Equipping Pastors International. She has traveled to every continent, but Africa is now her main focus of ministry.
When she is not visiting others, they are visiting her from across America and from all over the world at her home near Orlando, Florida, where she loves to entertain friends and family. She keeps a fresh batch of her famous homemade cookies in the kitchen.
